On Friday 20th April, CMPP were delighted to invite 80 partners and guests to Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Farnborough to reflect on the significant highlights of 2017!
The event kicked off with welcome drinks on the balcony of the newly built Exhibition and Conference Centre, where Partners and guests were able to network and share their business highs and lows, and how CMPP has enabled their companies and organisations to flourish and prosper into the heart of Farnborough and Aldershot.
Special guests including Steering Group Partners, Lt. Col. Macgregor, Garrison Commander at Aldershot Garrison and Chair of CMPP, and Simon Jarvis, CEO of the Prospects Trust, were invited to speak at the event to thank current partners for their hard work and dedication to the community and progression of young people.
Jane Armstrong, Headteacher of Farnborough Grange Nursery & Infant School and Chair of Rushmoor Local Children's Partnership, revealed to guests and partners, the positive impact CMPP plays on local education. She spoke highly of the Youth Aspirations Fund (YAF) and highlighted how the grant had been used at Farnborough Grange Infants to open up a wealth of opportunity and knowledge to her pupils. Dawn Ray from Partner company, SATRO, agreed with Jane and showcased the impact of their own STEM venture which was partially funded via the YAF.
Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre kindly offered delegates the opportunity to view the newly opened venue and portrayed the wealth of opportunity the new venue will bring to Farnborough and the surrounding areas.
CMPP would like to give thanks to all delegates who came and enjoyed afternoon tea. Special thanks go to Farnborough International who sponsored the event and pledged to keep striving towards making a positive impact in their community.
