Today, CMPP are delighted to announce the membership of three new partners. The CMPP network is now 30 strong - that’s 30 inspirational businesses looking to make a positive change in their local community!

First, SATRO, a local charity and social enterprise that has been working with young people to inspire and educate them, with real life experiences of all aspects of the working world, particularly in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Since the charity started, SATRO have inspired and raised the aspirations of over 450,000 young people.

Dawn Ray, CEO of SATRO, comments: "Sharing the partnerships objective of raising aspirations for young people and embedding key employability skills, meant joining was an obvious choice for SATRO. As an established education charity across the area, we are all about inspiring future talent. Our broad range of programmes and the strength of relationships we have with schools, enables us to bring them and employers together to motivate young people, to learn key skills and to open their eyes to possible career paths.”

Secondly, Windsor Telecom, a trusted, innovative and customer-focused telecom provider situated in the heart of Camberley. As a communications specialist, the Windsor Telecom team are dedicated to providing the best options for their customers and never miss a new opportunity. Sue and her team are delighted to join the partnership and look forward to digging their nails into some volunteering and fundraising.

Sue Kempton, Managing Director of WIndsor Telecom, says: “The team at Windsor always put 100% effort into everything they do. I feel really sure that this project will be no exception. We thrive on a team mentality and we are very much looking forward to extending this ethos to CMPP. As local businesses, we all have an obligation to the wider community, particularly for those young people who do not have the opportunities that lots of us have had, to offer them aspiration and guidance, as well as practical skills.”

Next to join, Sixth Sense Marketing, a marketing consultancy firm based in Fleet, Hampshire. The tight-knit family operated business helps drive local, growing businesses forward to reach their annual targets. Nick and Tracey Shrimpton, owners of the business were finalists in the 2017 INSPIRE Business Awards, ‘New Business of the Year’. Over their professional careers, Nick and Tracey have supported a wealth of organisations including Community Events, Charity Work and Education. They look forward to harnessing their skill to benefit the local community via CMPP’s unique network.

Nick Shrimpton, Director at Sixth Sense Marketing, comments:We were introduced to CMPP by an existing member and were quickly impressed by the work being done and the ambition to do more. We are parents of two teenage children, so the CMPP theme of Youth Aspiration naturally struck a chord with us. Our hope is be an asset communicating the virtues and benefits of CMPP, to really enjoy being a part of the network and to meet the other members.”

And last, but by no means least, CMPP welcomes A-Plan Insurance, a local firm based in Farnham and Farnborough. Joe Leatherbarrow, Business Development Executive, looks forward to the wealth of opportunity the CMPP network is able to offer.

Joe comments: "A-Plan Insurance are delighted to join CMPP's collaborative network of inspirational businesses. Here's looking forward to the start of a happy partnership!"
