Community Minds 2018 Networking Event

Community Minds is a bi-annual networking event hosted by CMPP to enable private and public sector organisations to talk, share and discuss ways to work together for the local community in and around Rushmoor. 

This Community Minds will open-up a fantastic opportunity for you to consider how your business can work with local schools and educational providers to inspire and support the next generation of employees.

  • 08.45: Welcome from event host Tracy Jarvis, Founder of CMPP

  • 09.00: The Apprenticeship Levy: Adam Sage, Knights Training Academy

  • 09.15: Apprenticeship in Action: Ed Bartlett,The Wellesley Project Aldershot

  • 09.30: The importance of education and business partnerships - Martin Amos, Head teacher, Calthorpe Park School

  • 09.50: Group Discussion 1: What do student delegates identify as their greatest needs in terms of business help and support?

  • 10.05: Feedback from Discussion 1

  • 10.15: Group Discussion 2: How can businesses respond to these needs?

  • 10.30: Feedback from discussion 2

  • 10.40: Summary of event the formulating an action plan/pledge

  • 10.55: Launch of the CMPP Christmas toy and food collections

  • 11.00: Business Networking Session and coffee

  • 12.00: Close
