On 31 July, a group of volunteers from the Facilities Team at BMW UK went to Guillemont School to help revamp their African Huts.
The volunteers got to work varnishing the wood of the African Huts to prepare them for another year of British weather!
Guillemont School allowed the team to get straight to work by preparing and washing the wood, creating a clean surface ready for clear varnish to be coated over the beams.
The African Huts will once again provide a beautiful shelter for children at playtime and during outside lessons thanks to the hard work of the BMW team!
All volunteers from BMW enjoyed their volunteering day and said it was massively rewarding to be out of the office giving back to the community. The team hope that the children will enjoy utilising the outdoor area during their time at school.
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to bring some sparkle to the African Huts!
