Festive Frimhurst

Published: Thursday 10 December 2020 by CMPP

On Thursday 10th December CMPP Partners came together for a Festive Volunteer day at Frimhurst Family Home. Corporate volunteers helped to clear their grounds ready for families to visit over the Christmas period.  This was a great opportunity to get out of the office/home office and come together in an outdoor, safe environment and give back to the local community.

Kath O'Rourke from Rushmoor Borough Council gives us her thoughts on the day "The Festive Frimhurst was agreat success.  The charity are involved in some fantastic work, supporting vulnerable families and bringing them to this special place.  The volunteering work, the Rushmoor team took part in, has saved Murielle valuable time which she can now spend working with the families, over Christmas. What a life changing charity, it was a pleasure to be part of this day.  A very big thank you to the CMPP team who organised this day, spot on and nothing missed, Anthea and Rachel are a great credit to the team with their positive encouragement throughout the day.  I would highly recommend becoming involved in one of the community action days, so many positives for all involved. Thank you.”

Nicola from Adapt Sustainability commented: "This was a great way to give back to the community, get some fresh air and feel the wellbeing benefit of time outdoors."

Once again, thank you so much to all the volunteers involved. You have made an amazing difference to this amazing local charity.
