Zurich Community Trust Supports Twilight Runway Challenge

Published: Thursday 27 May 2021 by CMPP

The Twilight Runway Challenge would not be possible without the generous support from businesses as sponsors, which helps to cover the event costs and enables 100% of fundraising to go to local causes.  We are delighted to confirm that one of the headline sponsors for this year is Zurich Community Trust.  Rachel Beddis (Marketing and Communications Manager) reveals “As a long standing supporter of CMPP, Zurich Community Trust is proud to sponsor the Twilight Runway Challenge.  After all that everyone has gone through over the past 18 months this is such a fantastic event to bring people together again whilst raising much needed funds for charity – what could be better!”

The family-friendly event returns on Saturday 11th September, encouraging people of all ages to get active whilst helping to support local causes.  Participants can run, walk, cycle, scoot or skateboard along 3km, 5km or 10km of the airstrip of Blackbushe Airport, taking part for fun or raising funds for a local charity or school of their choice.

The event is fortunate to have a diverse array of charity partners, such as - Chloe's & Sophie's Special Ears Fund, LinkAble, Sebastian’s Action Trust, Twins Trust and White Lodge, to name a few!

Karen Jackson from Chloe's and Sophie's Special Ears Fund reveals "We are delighted to be a charity partner of the Twilight Runway Challenge as it will provide us with the incredible opportunity for our supporters to join us on the runway.  After a challenging year through Covid19, this is a really exciting time to come together as a community to raise funds for deaf children".
