Fuelled by coffee and bacon sandwiches, the teams took to the course for a noon start. Aetna colleagues split into two teams, Tom Causton, Toby Gosheron and Lee Eimerl made up the red team; Andy O’Cain, Damian Lenihan, Matt Boxall and Liam Winn were on the blue team. Despite the scores remaining tight throughout; the blue team managed to grasp the lead and win the overall game – a brilliant result for Aetna! A special mention to Andy O’Cain who won “Best Individual Score” overall. Well done to all who competed, over £1000 was raised for CMPP, a great achievement.
Andy O’Cain, Sales Director, Aetna International commented “The day offered a great mix of competition, team bonding, local networking and great fun. We were honoured to take part and support our partners CMPP. It was great to get to know our neighbouring businesses and raise money for our local community, thank you CMPP for organising a brilliant day”.
CMPP is a non-for-profit organisation who organise and facilitate a variety of corporate volunteering activities with local organisations. Their aim is to help communities thrive by addressing local priorities through corporate volunteering projects and partnerships.
Supporting our local community is a priority for Aetna, we recently participated in a Community Action Day organised by CMPP, and we are excited to volunteer in lots more initiatives like this throughout the remainder of the year.
