The Grange Community Junior School applied to CMPP for some volunteers to help them with their project and our Community Action Day Coordinator placed the 5 volunteers from Alphabet with the school.
A rare January sunny day helped the volunteers achieved everything the school needed, including weeding flower beds, clearing tree debris and aerating the entire football pitch!
Amanda Hall, School Burser said that the work achieved by the volunteers: “has really helped the caretaker with his workload and enhanced the school grounds” and that the volunteers were “wonderfully friendly and enthusiastic” and were “a credit to their company”
Michelle Pike, Business Process Executive from Alphabet said: “the Alphabet Process Management team believe in helping others and this is part of the ethos of the team. The volunteers enjoyed being outdoors and making a difference to the local community. This day has made us determined to find additional worthy causes to support during 2020”
Emma Thompson, Community Action Day Coordinator at CMPP said: “thank you so much to this fantastic team. It was very clear from the start how eager you were to help with such a great community project and I am delighted we were able to organise this day for you. You have helped the school immensely and they are so happy with what has been achieved! Excellent work team!”
