04 Sep - BMW help create a jubilee jungle at St Michaels School

On 4 September 2017, a group of volunteers from the Product & Marketing Communications team at BMW, went to St. Michael’s school to help transform their overgrown wilderness back into a joyful Jubilee Jungle! After a quick briefing and some refreshments, courtesy of the school, volunteers were fuelled and equipped with secateurs and spades and embarked on their tremendous journey to cut back hedges, brambles and shrubbery.

10 Jul - Twilight Runway Challenge 2017

On Saturday 1st July 2017, 550 locals ran, walked, cycled, skipped, hopped, long boarded, scooted and rollerbladed around TAG Farnborough Airports Runway raising £6,531 for the Youth Aspirations Fund helping young people in the community to become the best they can be.

12 May - BMW create shelter for community gardeners

On 12 May 2017, a group of volunteers from the Finance Team at BMW went down to Hawley Community Garden to build an outside shelter for community gardeners to use throughout the year. Hawley Community Garden is a local community garden aimed to increase knowledge and activity around sustainable food sources. It further acts as a social cohesion project, enabling people of all ages, genders and cultures from the Hawley Estate in North Farnborough to come and take part in a friendly and safe envi
