Pancakes taste even better when raising money for the community! On Tuesday 5 March, maybe better known as Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday, Occupiers at Farnborough Business Park were treated to freshly made crepes.

FARNBOROUGH: February 20, 2019. Seven organisations have joined the growing Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) this month, which now represents a business network over 40 public and private sector socially responsible organisations volunteering time and resources to champion and promote youth aspiration and wellbeing in Rushmoor.
The Community Matters Partnership Project are delighted to announce that Corporate Safeguarding has joined the network as a new Partner organisation.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a broad term used to describe a company’s efforts to improve society in some way. These efforts can range from donating money to implementing policies in the workplace. CSR is important for companies, nonprofits, and employees alike. Corporate social responsibility is not a mandated practice; instead, it is something extra that companies do to improve their local and global communities
BMW Group UK held a Christmas Market on the 27 November to raise money for the CMPP. With over 35 stalls selling lots of lovely goodies, including Jewellery, Artisan food, Christmas gifts, Beauty and clothing. Employees enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies and enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit with our very own BMW Rock Choir singing Christmas carols. We managed to raise over £3,000 for the CMPP.
Farnborough Business Park hosted a Festive Wreath Making Workshop for CMPP which raised over £500. On Thursday 6 December 2018, Farnborough Business Park welcomed 120 occupiers from across the Park to join them in Aviators Café to take part in the Christmas Wreath Making Workshop.

BMW volunteers very kindly spent a day helping the staff at Samuel Cody Sports College update their stage. The area was in dire need of a make-over before the students could use it for their forth coming play.
